Supercharger on a 350 in a 85 Monte ss

Default Supercharger on a 350 in a 85 Monte ss

I have an 85 monte carlo ss that i converted into a 5 speed and want to supercharge the motor with a 177 Weiand but was wondering if it would fit under a 4 inch cowl?

depends on the size of the supercharger size of the carb and air cleaner. but on the air cleaner you can get a thiner air cleaner. but when getting a super charger ask for the dementions as in the hight of it and go from there.

Ya i didn't know if anyone has done it because i had seen one online and could not contact anyone about it.

it should work but you will probably need to do some hood work so every thing will work i just wanted to guve you some heads up before setting every thing in stone

Not sure about a 177 but the 142 will fit with a drop base air filter. Which 5 speed are you running? if its a t5 I wouldn't plan on it lasting to long.

Ya its a T5 but i have a 94 camaro with a T56 and think im gonna invest in one of those after i blow this one.
