Default Strange Brake/Traction Control Issue

Hey all,
So I'm having a weird issue with my ABS/Traction control (I think, not sure what it is) When I start my car or turn while braking something in the front end makes a deep whine/growl sort of like a grinding, and the brake pedal starts to jump around under my foot. I still brake but it's a pretty rough stop. Occasionally it will happen and the traction control light will come on. I've had the ABS Light and Traction Control monitor checked out and they thought it might be a bad wheel bearing, but the light hasn't come on in some time. What do you guys thing? Wheel bearing or something else entirely? Wondering if it could be the axles going but they look pretty good from underneath. Hope this is the right section for this post.

Sound like a bad wheel bearing. It could also be an issue with the wiring to the hubs.

Any other info or suggestions?
