When I bought my monte, it was having problems and rigged up. A few days ago I was driving and the car cut off because of low gas. I put gas into the car but it wont turn over. The starter isnt getting power and the starter wire is rigged up from the previous owner. Does anyone have pictures of how the starter wires are suppose to be connected?

 

With the info you gave sounds like the battery.once the car was out of gas did you keep trying to start it?that sometimes kills a weak battery. Try jumping it before anything else.what year is monte and engine info?
