Try hitting it with starter fluid. If it starts then its a fuel related problem. If not then its ignition. I have a feeling it may be your fuel pump. You also have someone bang on the tank with a rubber hammer while cranking. If it starts then it is definantly your fuel pump

so it will start but die? this will be a little bit of work but pull off your plenum(upper intake) and test the resistance at all your injectors it should be around 12 i think and if one injector is bad it will shut off that bank, my bro had this problem with his gran prix that has the 3.4 twin cam, he replaced the tank, pump, fuel filter comp to come up empty i grabed a multimeter set it to check resistance(ohms) and found one at .4 put it a new one and it was off and running!

You should hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key to the on position. If nothing happens, it could be that the pump is dead. If the pump is working and there's no fuel going to the engine, it could be the filter. The filter is located under the car, not in the tank. Follow the lines from the tank and you'll see it.

it will start will either as soon as its out of either it dies so i think its somthing in the fuel filter, its one problem after another with this car, new lower ball join ,new iac, new valve cover gaskets, new cv joint and axle now this
