You need to give up trying to get the ZZP M90 set-up for cheap. That only thing i think you can even remotely make are the fuel rails, because I have seen a few GP guys make their own.

You have to just enjoy this car for what it is right now lol

I doubt it. I think the blower is moved to the drivers side, because the belt has to line up. Thats a good inch or more difference. I could be wrong though.
The SSm90 kit uses an offset pulley to line up with the accessory belt.
I'm betting the modifications needed are only due to the fuel injectors being in the LIM instead of the heads, and the blower case gets in the way of the fueling system if the blower isn't ground down at this point.

Alright, I guess thats why you cant swap pullies on those. Would they be ok with you just doing an engine swap. Probably gonna be easier. Honestly I wouldnt suggest doing the top swap unless you have someone who knows these engines to help you.

I would almost prefer an engine swap, but that would be alot more money, I think.. And here, engines aren't cheap, like I stated previously.

So I still don't understand what ZZP needs to do to modify the blower for the ssm90 kit. From what I've ready, all they NEED to do is cut the housing a little to fit the fuel logs, and while they have it, they just port it. If that's the case, I think I could just put the blower on and modify the route of the logs, or dremel out the casing just a little to fit them.

Try it man, if it doesnt work, you're just out of the money for that blower. Get a junked case somewhere first to test fit and to mess with.

I have to agree with Mike on this, just stick with what you have and enjoy it for now! Your parents have the upper hand and until you either convince them or go out on your own, you have to answer to them. Hang in there and enjoy what you have for now!

Have you ever done work like that before? They are using a CNC machine to port outlets for the supercharger. They also do it to match up with the intake perfectly, this isn't something you want to be "close enough"

Okay so they NEED to port it to work with the ssm90? Because if all the porting does is add a little extra horsepower, I don't think it's worth $550.

The top swap kit that glanzergtx (I think that's his name) is selling on clubgp still hasn't sold. I don't know why though. My parents still won't let me buy that for some reason. They know it's cheaper and more reliable, but requires more work (which I'm willing to put in this summer).

What are some other benefits of supercharging besides HP gain? I think if I try to tell my parents some other reasons to supercharge rather than to make my car faster, it'll make them lean toward yes, rather than no.

What are some solid NA builds, incase I decide to stay stock for a while?

Thanks!
Tyler

Another benefit would be sound haha.

Honestly if you want to do NA, its kind of worthless (HP wise) unless you want to be different.
