Exclamation ss m90 kit question

if the zzp SS M90 kit was originally made for a 1997 pontiac grand prix gt, will it work on my 2003 monte ss?

i found a good deal and am thinking about buying it, if i KNOW it will work.

kit includes the modified m90, modified lower intake and the SS install kit + L67 injectors.
just really need to know if the lower intake is compatible. thats the big one. all the others will work as long as that will.

anyone? need to know ASAP please!

thanks!

im just trying to figure out why on zzp under the SS m90 install kit they ask for year and model of your car, and how that would effect going from a 97 grand prix to a 03 monte? anyone?

all other parts as far as a full kit setup would be identical correct? also trying to figure out why on the modified m90 they ask an option of your car being 97 or 98+ anyone know what the difference would be?

Hmm, I'm not too sure myself. I know the engine is the L36 series II like us. Can you drop ZZP an email asking them? They usually get back to you in <24 hours.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

it has to do with the pcm, when i did the top swap to my monte carlo the hardest part was trying to flash the pcm.. theres alot of security on these things. also there were a difference in the throttle bodys from 97-98 to 99+ along with a few other things, thats why they ask make model and year

Well, just bought the kit today from ZZP, should be here next week!

im excited, with the mods i already have i can run a 3.8 pulley, hopefully get 280 to the wheels, and 300+ torque.

gonna have it dyno tuned when it comes in at my shop i got for the install.

anyone know where i can pick up a cheap SS intercooler kit? cant find any on the forums, but would really like to install it with the supercharger to save install money.

its showing on zzp that there stage 2 ad 3 gen 3 intercoolers wont work with the ss m90 kit, only the SSIC.

i know size could be an issue, anything else?

what other mods would it take for me to go down to a 3.6 pulley?
im already good for a 3.8 - roughly how many pounds of boost am i running on a 3.8 pulley?

I wouldn't look at pulley sizes until you have that kit installed and scanned for KR

just remember with the higher compression any kr is bad.. i have yet to see any kr with my setup so far, pick up a aeroforce gauge to monitor it 24/7. also id ditch the rockers and go with a cam if u want to drop pulley sizes and ur only option right now for a ic setup is the ssic which a few r going up in classifieds over on www.clubgp.com
