index your spark plugs for the best gains.
Do you really think that will make enough difference to be worth it on an otherwise totally stock engine?

Not trying to knock it, I indexed mine on the monte, but I'd bet its a real pain seeing the back plugs and could easily double the time of a spark plug swap.

mark the extention on the socket, instead of looking at the plug. and yes it will make a difference on any engine. On a stock engine use ACDELCO and index them. its easy enough to do, and if you buy a kit from summit, it will tell you how to do everything.

think about how much better the ingnition of the combustion chamber will be with the spark facing the intake valve, or combustion chamber of the head, as uppous to having its back to the it. this is not for a chevy motor. but explains the theory and experament.
any gain, is a good gain.
