hey pals!

when i came onto the forum i stated that im basicly keepin my 07 SS as close to "all original" as possible...
face it, for us that have them... we have the "last SS"... ya know?

BUT
of course some small things wouldnt hurt...
one of them being a performace CHIP.

has anyone done the basic install of one of the JET performance chips to THIS SS?
(2007) and if so, tell me about it and how its goin' for ya.

as awesome as it sounds, im not too much into doin something beyond that,... but ive always been curious as to if these suckers really make a noticeable difference in our beloved 07 SS.

i've got a jet chip installed on my camaro and it helped out with gas mileage and made it a little peppier. for the price though, you might want to look into a custom tune. i've heard a lot of power can be extracted from the ls4 with a good tune. while you're at it, might as well get some kind of a cai. it's another cheap, easliy reversible mod that will help your mileage and add a few ponies.

 

I had one on my 01 LS. I didnt see that much of a gain at all. I agree with custom; a good tune and a CAI would be GREATLY noticeable over the jetchip.

 

Everyone on LS1Tech.com says that they are junk. I personally would not do it.
