shorter dogbones
whats the difficulty level of installing new dogbones?? how does the prosses word. i know the engine will rock reallt easy and i dont think you could do just one at a time being the new ones are shorter, so again could someone give me yet another walk-through?? thank you
Take them both out at once, and put in the new ones. I can pull the engine around with 1 finger lol. If your too weak (ill assume your not lol) you could get a small neighbor girl to pull it forward while you put in the new dogbones
I'm glad I found this post, because I was also looking into installing shorter dogbones. Are the gains of getting shorter dogbones really that noticeable? On ZZP.com a lot of people noted that they noticed better acceleration, better pick up, the car handled better, etc. Can anyone clarify on the accuracy of these statements?
ahhh well that gave me a good morning laugh.

Really? Turning won't be the same? Say no more, I like my car's sharp handling as is. I'll go with the Polyurtherane motor mounts instead.
You're talking a very minor difference- maybe a 1% difference in F/R weight distribution- they only move the top of the engine forward an inch maybe- and the bottom of the engine stays in the same spot.
Also poly mounts are a completely different thing than shorter dogbones.
