Hey guys. 05 SS, just put in my zzp 1.0 pcm. I've tried all 3 of the security relearn procedures zzp gave, 3 times each per key (I have two keys ), and got nothin. The 10 minute on 10 seconds off procedure never stops flashing the security light the second cycle. If I put my stock pcm in it fires right up. Can anyone give me an idea? I called zzp and still haven't got a response from them.. I'd like to get it runnin some time soon! Lol

It sounds like you're going to have to send the pcm back and either have them try again or get a PCM from someone else.

The one I bought for my 05 SS from ZZP the airbag light stayed on. I had to send them my original PCM and had that one tuned. Once I got my original one back I sent back theirs.

 

Thanks man! It started on the second cycle this way! No check engine light, airbag light, or even the abs light zzp said to expect have come on yet.

Check engine light came on. I spoke too soon. I cleared it and it just came back on. Can't scan it to see if it's the same codes til tomorrow. These are the codes it threw:


P1631 Theft deterrent start enable signal not correct -HISTORY


P2A01 O2 circuit range/performance bank 1 sensor 2- CURRENT HISTORY MIL


P2A01- CONFIRMED


P2A01- PENDING


Isn't that the downstream o2 which is deleted?..

Can you send ZZP your original PCM that came from your Monte to get tuned? For some reason the Monte's are very touchy - same thing happened to me with my 05SS. After I reinstalled my original PCM tuned by ZZP everything worked. Then I sent back theirs for the core charge
