ok so my buddy has a 74 nova hatchback with a 10bolt rear end.my monte has a 10 bolt rear end also..his has 4.10 gears and wants to switch them.my monte should have 3.73's.would these be able to be switched over.i know his rear end is shorter than mine (from hub to hub).any input would be great thanks guys/gals

 

u can swap the diffs but his rear is to short to work in ur car compete and urs is to long, we had a 73 Nova coupe and tried it, u gta swap out the internals

 

that was my thought.just swap out the ring an pinion.not whole assembly.but after talking to my dad,and finding out why 4.10's arent that great.i think im not goin to do it.
