i got this 85 monte carlo 4.3 for $500 i was told it just needs a fuel pump replaced that and got it running then it had a pinging noise more like the bottom end so i found no pressure in the spark plug hole next to cylinder one on the drivers side also found a bad injector also replaced that too so i took the cylinder head off and found a hole in the coolant passage behind one of the valve ports so i got a reman cylinder head got it running again after replacing the fuel pump again now i reset the timing 2 degrees from tdc now after driving it still pings a little every once n a while i cant remember if it does it cold or hot i never took the other cylinder head off to look but i saw allot off sludge ive been reading up on seafoam or do u think bg 44k fuel system cleaner and 91 plus octane is that good enough..? Also what if that doesnt work any suggestions? o yeah any places i can get sea foam in montgomery county area/dc..
