you can flash in car but u need to pull ur radio fuse.

I heard that someone did it this way before. Do you know that it works for sure though? This would save me a lot of time.

ya lol i have a 02 gtp pcm and i need a 04-05 pcm from a mc.

Cool glad to hear it. I am going to try to flash my PCM with the radio fuse out. Hopefully it will work. I do have another PCM though in case I brick it.

Because of the security issues with Monte Carlos. With Grand Prixs you can flash them on the car but with Monte Carlos you can't.
Odd, this hasn't been an issue for me at all.

You flashed the PCM on the car without removing the fuse?

I had mine flashed about 3 times without removing it. Just make sure you unlock it with the key fob and the security wont be an issue.

Yes, my car has been tuned three separate times, each time being flashed more than three times in a session. I have never had to remove any fuses during the tuning process. It has always been tuned with a PowrTuner through the OBD2 port under the dash. Haven't had any issues doing it that way. This is on a 2004 s/c ss.
