I don't think that's gonna work though. I didn't remember you had to goop a bunch of RTV to seal it up- that's a lot of work just to check and see if it runs better at idle. I thought you could just undo the hose on the LIM, stick the penny in, and bolt it back on.
I don't know any other way to disable EGR and guarantee that its not leaking, that is free or cheap and quick.
