So the only code left in my computer is P0122, TPS communications problem. I have 2 TPSs. I did a resistance reading on both and they came out good.Then I swapped them, cleared the code and drive for a bit. The code came back each time. The Computer has been checked out and updated by GM so I know it is good. It Also feels like third gear is non existent in the car after I have driven for about 20 minutes.
The sensor issue must be a frayed wire in the harness. And I Don't Really wanna have to search it out. But Oh Well. The problem with 3rd gear I think is something I am nit financially ready for, nor will I be for a few months! The Transmission needs to be rebuilt? I want to get the TRIPLE Edge Street/Stop Trans, But I can't do it till next income tax season. So I am hoping to make the Trans last until Feb 2014. I know next to nothing about auto Trans. Is there anything I can do to lengthen the life of this Trans so I can get to the point where I can afford to replace it? I was thinking about doing a Flush and Filter. But I don't. Want to spend the $$$ or time if it's not going to do me any Good! Can someone ask the GM guru of Transmissions to wave his magic finger at my car to make it last till I can afford to replace the Trans? Please!
