Yea I knew that already lol I'm really wanting to get a tune from him than ZZP
I'm just waiting to hear back about deleting the p0420 code, or should I just make note of it in the Modifications Tab?

Specifics like that you will want confirmation. That way, if it's forgotten, you'll have an email confirming it, not a hearsay order on a website.

Be patient and you'll get what you want, I'm sure.

Yessiree!! I just emailed him back and forth a few times. Thanks shandly
I asked his opinion on which octane tune to go with and he replied
"If you're running 87 octane right now, I'd go and continue it and order my 87 octane tune. You should be pleased with the performance.

- Will"

Just placed an order so now I'll just be patient till it gets here lol

You will be more than happy with the 87 tune. I love mine.

I went with the 91+ tune on mine since Will recommends that one for the LA1s. Granted it didn't make any real changes in power (as Will said it wouldn't) basically all the increases you see will come from the changes in the transmission.

You won't believe the difference they can make, the shift points are wonderful as is the responsiveness of the throttle. Before the tune I'd always get annoyed where when I come out of a turn it'll hold at like 2k RPMs, I'll keep gradually pushing the pedal to get a little more push and basically the car just ignored it, then all of a sudden you push it down a little too much and it goes WOT.

There's now a happy medium and the responsiveness is quick and effective.

My PCM came in the mail today, took me 20 minutes or so to install it
Very very happy with the way my monte runs now! love the way it shifts and the way it downshifts at 1/2 throttle or so, pulls real good
Only drove it for a few minutes but I'm very satisfied with the results, I'm glad I didn't have no security or crank relearn issues. Also no more p0420 check engine light haha
