Glad to hear it! I only wished that I could switch between 91 octane and 87 octane tables. Also, the up shift from 3rd to 4th could be set at a bit lower speed. It seems cruising causes some slightly higher RPMs than normal but still, I'm with you! Try some WOT runs and also the hammer down from 3rd to 4th. Really good times. It's hard not to drive WOT now.

Got it up to 90mph WOT real easily getting on the freeway haha
Most city driving I do here the speed limit is 45mph
so It gets into 4th by then... I'll do some more driving later though

You won't believe the difference they can make, the shift points are wonderful as is the responsiveness of the throttle. Before the tune I'd always get annoyed where when I come out of a turn it'll hold at like 2k RPMs, I'll keep gradually pushing the pedal to get a little more push and basically the car just ignored it, then all of a sudden you push it down a little too much and it goes WOT.

There's now a happy medium and the responsiveness is quick and effective.

This is good to know but my biggest thing is $$$ for gas.

You can, but the lower octane is going to give your KR so the engine pulls timing as a way to run the lower octane

At around 20 cents difference from regular to premium you'd spend about 4 bucks extra to fill the tank if you're putting in a full 17 gallons.

Default Emissions

Do these tuned pcms pass OBDII emissions testing? And if they don't, could i simply keep my stock PCM and switch the pcms back and forth before and after i get emissions tested?

OBD2 testing is simply whether or not your car has a CEL, and to make sure that all of your sensors are in the ready state.

When a PCM is tuned to remove codes, it simply never reports them. You wouldn't fail the test.

FYI, I also change out the PCM on a semi regular basis with my stock one, depending on how I am going to drive for the week/month. I've never had to do the crank position thingy so maybe I am just lucky.

Talk to Will at Overkill. He will set you up with all of the info you need.

After installing an Overkill tuned PCM I noticed that my car was running slightly rich once up to speed and cruising, but a crank relearn resolved the problem. Since every engine is different, there's really no way to know if it will be required or not until the PCM is installed.
