0w-30 full synthetic mobile 1 or castroil edge syntec. do to i let the three i alternate monte dads cougar when i say hay thats a nice cougar and my mustang gt modified sit. the reson why i use 0w-30 is they sit for a month or longer if i dont drive them sooner. the lighter wieght of the 0 shoots to the heads and the valves faster till it warmes up and becomes what ever weight. i know 30 is the highest but 0w30 allowes me to ensure the engine wont fail do to total dry start

I was running 5W-30 conventional Valvoline but used 5W-30 Pennzoil on this last change because I got a heck of a deal on it at Pepboys after Thanksgiving. I still have a couple of vehicles running Valvoline though. I may change them over to Pennzoil also.

I'm another person that will not run Mobil 1 in my vehicles anymore. I was a huge fan back in the early 90's and ran it until the early 2000's when I started doing oil analysis on my 98 chevy truck with the 5.7L and my ex-wife's 98 Grand Prix GT with the 3800. Neither one came back with very good results over the couple of years that I did oil analysis on these two vehicles. I switched back to a conventional oil and all of my wear metals went down, engines were quieter, and used less oil.

I plan on staying with a conventional. A conventional oil in the viscosity recommended by your manufacturer will work fine
