Let me see, I'll look in2 my Crystal Ball : )Hi `Jay,First suggestion Get under your Monte & check 1. Place cardboard under car, and pinpoint the area2. Check oil pan gaskets/oil filter area.3. Smell fluid to determine if it's motor`oil, or transmission fluid(trans fluid should have a red tint)4. Check engine area: P.S., brake lines etc.5. Check valve cover gaskets.Good Luck, & let us know `okSome mechanic's will check `free, & give you an estimate.

if its oil, check the drain plug area too. i had this happen to me once and i had not put the draing plug back in quite tight enough. the last time you put it on, did it go on easily or hard? if it went on hard, something was wron,g and you probably cross threaded and that will usually make it leak. check the oil filter for a hairline crack as well. watch your mirror next time you drive and just floor it once for about 5 minutes, see if any smoke is created behind you... thats what a friends car did once when it had a crack in the oil filter.

We really need a CAR heading under our profiles.

What year and engine are you running? How many miles?

I would clean the area around the heads and valve covers to see if you can find oil coming off the block somewhere. Otherwise you might be burning it. If so, I would switch to synthetic right away.
