6th Gen ('00-'05): Nitrous?

Nitrous?
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has ran nitrous on their 6th gen, non supercharged 3.8L SS? Just wondering about their experiences and if it was worth while? I'm planning on doing an L67 swap or turbo build up, but I can get a nitrous set up for cheap, and was thinking it might be fun until the L67 swap can occur...

Eh. I've heard guys say don't run more than a 100 shot, which would get you into the 13's in a quarter mile, at the expense of the transmission. I'd say just save up for forced induction, but hey if you wanna play with the giggle juice be my guest lol

There are many who have run nitrous on 3800s. The biggest use I've seen for it on 3800s is to help a big old school turbo spool up.
As long as you keep the shot reasonable, you'll be fine. Upside to nitrous is if you get the kit cheap in good condition, you can usually get most of your money back whenever you get tired of it. Downside is obvious, filling it is expensive, especially if you use it a lot. Over a few years, it may end up cheaper just buying hard mods up front.

As mentioned it's been done many times. I would suggest a wet kit if you do and nothing bigger than 100 shot.
I'm not a fan of it because you only have that power when your spraying. I like having the power 24/7
