If you are looking for a tune, check out Corvettes of Westchester in Ossining, NY. Not only do you get an amazing tune, but you get his special CoW tune. Got it done, gained extreme power and I love it. Tell him Brian told you to go to him. Will not disappoint! And he does tunes all over the WORLD.

Was this on your Monte or another car this tuner did for you? Dyno or street tuned? If it was the Monte, any mods that were done prior to the tune?

I don't own a Trans Am, but I own a Camaro. No one can can use an HP Tuner on my '84 Camaro though (old schoool chip setup).

My other cars, the Monte and the Grand Am, I have a DHP PowrTuner tool and learning to street tune my own cars with it.

But based on how happy you are with the results, I am sure others here will wanna call him up

Jason the guy here can tune your camaro, he has all the ls1 tunes for camaros, trans ams, vipers and 97+ vetts. My first tune ran 200, dyno was 400. His weekend rates are 1000 though.

It's a 1984 Z28, currently with a L69 305. It does not have a reprogramable computer, it relies on an EPROM chip (so to re-program the computer, it's a change of the chip itself). But, to my knowledge, the computer in that car does very, very little (my Camaro runs on a carburetor).
Right now, the engine is not even in the Camaro (been out of the car for years). I'm probably going to move towards a 350 in the future for it and I intend to keep it carb-ed (it's part of the nostalgia for that car).
I'm a long ways from having to worry about the drive train performance in the Camaro
