hey all, i'm new here so bear with me.
I have a 78 monte, 231 with a rochester 2 barrel carb, which i have been having problems with. everytime I give it gas after idling for a bit, it bogs out. I was told to get a carb kit and then i can attempt doing the work myself, but I cannot find ANYTHING on this damn carburator. so any help in finding any carburator or carb kits would be apriciated
also i live in canada if that helps.

 

check out jegs or summit. im pretty sure that they both sell 2 barrel rochesters, and carry rebuild kits. give them a call since both most probably dont have every single product they carry online or in there catalog.

Talk with the tech department an they can help you choose a carb that will work well if not better that the stock one.
The rochester carbs can be a big pain if you don't know them good

 

just have it rebuilt
