hey, wlecome to the forums!

Heres a few things we'll be knowing to better take a stab at your problem:

is it one large "jolt" or is it a series of smaller ones?
what are you doing to make it jolt?
how long has it been doing it?
how many miles are on your monte?

the more you describe into those, and past that, the better awnser you'll probably end up getting!

Check plugs, wires, and air filter. If all good, try running a fuel injector cleaner through it like SeaFoam.

If that doesn't do it, bring it into the dealership to have them check the cat converter. They are known to plug up after awhile and cause a ton of weird issues like you are explaining.

Welcome, fuel filters are infamous for malfunctioning at low or idling speeds.

man you guys are great. im really thankful for the help. well i think its been doing like small jolts constantly though. i have 111,000 miles on it. i just got a tune up on it and it still does it i just drive my car regular. i never drive wreckless in it. um...i really don't know how else to explain it. i drive slow and it gives like a couple small jolts then when i'm at like 60 MPS. it drives fun for the most part but sometime too it jolts but mostly when i'm driving like 25 to 30 MPS. i"ll look until you guys advice thanks if you guys have anymore let me know.

I had a problem similar to yours with a Chrysler about 10 years ago.It too had a recent tune up.It turned out that one of the plugs was gapped too close and fouled up,practically closing the gap.It seemed to run OK at higher speeds, but bucked and stumbled at lower speeds.
