Basically you are looking at around $1000 and some pretty easy bolt-on mods that don't require many tools.
A good CAI system, ER Rockers, Free up your exhaust with either Headers, or a front powerlog and downpipe, a step colder plugs, 180 thermostat, 3.4 pulley and a good tune.
You might have to start with a 3.6 pulley since all cars are different, and try to work down to a 3.4

well i can tell you from experiance because i have the same car. i'm well past 300.. but at the wheels 287. and trust me its a big difference, between the two. and i'm well past 1,000 dollars. i did all the basics, plus big cam, intercooled, smaller pully, custom tune. right now i maxed out my fuel injectors or i could go even smaller pully because there is still no knock. so i'll be getting full headers and bigger injectors. people don't wanna race all that much, because they think its a big car, and wanna race sports cars. but if they ever do, i mostly win!!!

@ limited edition SS, https://montecarloforum.com/forum/he...n-3800s-10942/ that is the original thread, that Junior car had mentioned... some very good info, 3800 performance and zz performance are both some good sites that have parts for us...

yea i'm getting bigger injectors soon as i have some time and money to do it. since i live in michigan i always drive up to zz performance and have them put the parts on. so if it ever fails they can't say that it was because of an issue with an install
