That ZZP kit is stupid expensive, especially for the fuel rail. Also you have to be careful it doesn't start a fire. We had one member here who had a bad fuel leak in that kit.

My friends dad got his hands on two m62 superchargers and I offered to buy them off him. They both work perfectly, but I'm wondering if they'll fit on my L36 at all. I know they're off the 3800 series I engine. Anyone got any info on these?
Anyone know of someone who might be interested in buying this? It won't be mine for a couple weeks because I'm sortof tight on money right now.
They won't fit on your L36 at all without a custom adapter plate (not the ZZP SSM90 kit, that is for installing an M90). Making a custom adapter plate puts you in the league with all the other custom supercharger (whipple, KB, TVS) guys- it gets stupid expensive. Plus, instead of getting a better supercharger, you're getting a worse one- much worse. Less airflow, older generation, much older unit (likely in worse shape than a much newer M90). The 3800's they came on were series 1, and virtually nothing off those will fit on a series 2/3 3800.

The only people that would be interested in buying these would be the guys with the old series 1 3800s- maybe as a core to get ported or polished or something, otherwise no one else is going to buy them. M90's are dirt cheap now, and even the new cobalt M62's are getting pretty cheap for people looking to do custom work.

If it were me, and money is as tight as you say- don't buy them. IMO they're going to be worth virtually nothing. Sure you might get $50 or something if its in good shape, but they're fairly common in junkyards, and shipping will kill on something that big/heavy.

Just my .02
