My wife drives a 1997 monte carlo ls with a 3.1 v6. Just a couple weeks ago we started having issues that we have yet figure out. When excellerating it seems to loose all power and won't go over 2000 rpms. We have replaced the fuel pressure regulator and found that there was a vacuum hose to the transmission and the fuel filter. In the last year I have changed spark plugs and wires and the oil and air filter are changed on a regular basis. I have yet to have it to a shop in the hopes that it is something that I can fix myself but if I don't figure it out soon I will have to. Any help is appreciated.
