After 4 weeks of waiting, I finally got my new dual snorkel ram air box from Air Inlet Systems. This is very much like a cold air intake system because it forces cool fresh air into the carburetor. This is a fiberglass box with reproduction fiberglass F-body style intakes that are to be mounted onto the radiator core support. I also had to scavange the Edelbrock carburetor off of my dad's 65 Mustang project because upon removing the air cleaner stud from my Holley, the damn thing broke off. My dad said he is getting a Demon carb anyway so I can keep the Edelbrock. I like that carb better than my Holley anyway. It has better throttle response.
