Default Leaking from valve cover? W/Pics

Trying to figure out if this is leaking from the valve covers, it happens on the front and back of engine. You can see where it pools up in those crevices, I figure it is the valve covers, cause if the head gasket was leaking wouldn't there be antifreeze mixed in?

It's leaking about a half a quart every two weeks, and smells terrible after driving it. How hard is it gonna be to replace those gaskets on the valve covers? assuming that is what you all think it is? The help is very much appreciated, taking a road trip around Xmas and want to get this fixed ASAP.

the top pic shows the oil "line" where the oil usually sits, but it has burnt up, the second pic shows one of the crevices full of oil.

Are you SURE it's oil and not dirty anti-freeze? Soak some up with a paper towel- I'm willing to bet it's anti-freeze.

It's probably a bad lower intake manifold gasket- this is a really, really common failure on 3800s. It's not a bad job to tackle yourself. A shop will charge $300-600 for it.

Smells like oil, feels like oil, and burns like oil. After driving the whole garage smells like burnt oil.

After researching further I see the intake mani gasket is a big problem. Would it possibly just leak oil out of that, or antifreeze for sure? It's full and not leaking antifreeze 100% sure.
