im seriously considering buying this performance package from INTENSE-racing.com but i dont know exactly about the quality and most of the details of this product. can some of you pro's elaborate about this?? Thanks

Sure, you COULD buy a package, but keep in mind, without a scanner, you're looking at blowing up your engine with knock.

First thing's first. What is your speed/horsepower goal? And what kind of budget are we talking about here?

 

anywhere from 325 and up and maybe 1500$ what is knock?

 

Knock is the Mixture injected into the Cylinder igniting BEFORE the Spark Plugs fires to make it Ignite. It causes severe damage. Particularly to aluminum engine components.

The power of the knock is so extreme that parts are destroyed by being subjected to "Knock" ... also call "Detonation". The Cylinder is filled with the Combustible Mixture and it Compressed so well the energy heats the Mixture and it Pre-ignites before the Spark Plug Fires. The Piston isn't close enough to TDC to withstand the premature firing of the mixture and the engine knocks as a result.

 

325 crank horsepower, or wheel? You will NEVER see 325 WHEEL without dropping 4-5 grand, and will NEVER see 325 crank without headers, a HELL of a tune, and other mods.

 

Makes me wish I would have just went turbo and only spent 6 hours vs the 50 or so I have in now.
