I was surprised
Well, after 112K I went to change my plugs and wires. And to my surprise, my 02 SS had iridium plugs in it from the factory. They actually looked pretty good yet, but I felt it was time. I did have to roll the engine forward to get to the back plugs, especially #2.
I'm glad I don't have to do that job for a living. LOL

To my knowledge, all 2000+ (may even go back further) 3800 powered Montes use irridium plugs. I'm not sure about the 3400's.
And yeah, at 112K, good time for that maintenance. Those plugs are due to be changed around 100K, but supposedly can last to 150K.
