there might be a valve cover gasket leaking and oil might be dripping on the exaughst feel around them and see if there might be a slight drip around there

Just had the same problem in my 06... look near the radiator on right side at your oil cooler line... shine a light on bottom of engine cradle, which lines run across; if its not silver, it's probably your lines. (NOTE: if this is your problem, you may not see oil on the ground, unless it gets BAAAAD).

I think my gaskets are bad as well guys... I was outside today and could smell the burning oil from the front of the engine (where the belt is) and notice on the wall of the engine, it was wet looking. I went further with my flash light (with the engine off) and noticed it was a nice little puddle at the bottom of the engine. So now I am worried which I have proper oil level on the dip stick. Plus my engine was making a whining soung (like a bad cassette tape inside a tape player going nuts) while driving and idle... SMH!!! So i am looking for someone in chicago, IL or on the outskirts of chicago to really seal the deal on repairing my engine...

Any Suggestions guys???

I am having the same problem but i can see an oil spot right under the valve cover, and i just replaced the gasket and it is still leaking from the same spot, causing little smoke and burnt oil smell
