Default I broke this... Do i really need it?

I was changing the wretched little infamous Coolant elbows and i kinda dropped the plastic intake runners. So it broke. i also noticed the intake is full of oil! Is this normal? Well as i was typing this, are the plastic runners designed not to let oil in the combustion chamber? I think ill be adding the ZZP HV3...

Not really, I mean it elongates the intake runners which make more torque. So your car will still run fine it just won't have as much ***** as it used to. Now that you've broke it upgrade to a high velocity intake insert.

Like already mentioned, you don't need the intake runners, but they are recommended. Oil in your LIM could be a result of bad LIM gaskets. Time to upgrade to aluminum ones.

You don't need mods to support an HVII or HVIII it's a standalone mod.

1 - You don't need to remove the upper intake to do those elbows. The coolant elbows should be about a 30 minute job. I've done the elbows about 3-4 times on different 3800s, never had to mess with more then then the alternator and tensioner bracket.

2 - If you get an HV3, the runners get discarded. You can drop an HV3 in by itself, but ZZP does recommend combining the HV3, Stage 1 HV Throttle Body and ER Rockers for the most performance. I put an L67 Throttle Body on my car instead of a Stage 1/2 HV Throttle Body.

The oil you see on the LIM is normal.

If you are not putting a HV3 in, I would replace the runners. The 3800 is a common car, odds are you can get the runners cheap from a junk yard.
