the reason why I put that on sharpezss is to help minimize any mess. but I never understood why it never had one leaving the plant.

my thinking is it would actually help keep them out on the road longer to maintain them if it came with it but who knows what the manufacturer thinks. ford I know actually recommends it to be swapped to promote maintenance on the automatic.

the gm dealer wanted me to change it to stock one.

I hear ya and agree totally. I use a fluid extractor now but ive dropped many pans in the past with oil going everywhere.....not fun at all and very hard to contain that's for shure, I can get all but about a quart out with the extractor soo its very easy to contain if your careful. not nearly as messy.
