How are you cooling your Monte in hot weather?

Yep. They come on at 175 i think. I know I changed it but would have to look to be sure of what it's set to.

They come on when the ac is on anyway right?

hmmm then it might be just the outside heat. i dont drive right now unless i absolutely have to bc the lows recently have been high 90's in the day time.

One fan comes on at the set point, the other fan comes on with the AC

hmmm i think mine is crazy then bc both of my fans stay on constantly no matter what temp it is.

my suggestions...

1st
Add more water to the mix of coolant will help cool it more.

Next... while it is hot to protect your car i would suggest the following... LOWER BOOST!
and add fuel if your cruse AF is 14.7 : 1 then drop to 14.5 : 1 but if you are running at 225* for the temp then your AF goes killer rich to protect the engine. if your car is creating too much heat you need to reduce the creation of this heat.

My personal option would be to put vents in the hood to allow the heat to escape.

I just dont change anything. I never use the a/c though unless the gf is with me.

To the OP, I love the avatar haha, I found that poster up in an old room in my house.
