Default Hiding place ???

So, I went out to do the plugs, wires and coils today on the Intimidator. I pull out #6 plug, go grab the new plug from the box, go to thread it in. Slips outta my fingers and falls between the manifold/heat shield and the block. I just about had it where I could pull it out, an it drops. But not to the ground, I cant figure out where the hell it fell off to . I'm thinking its on top of the transmission maybe? Be out there in the morning to try and figure it out.

That's the part I care about, had already planned on going to get another new plug. Guess I'll be adding a socket to the shopping list, lol.

See you know you should have bought the 8 pack of plugs........Kind of like the sock missing from the washing machine, a mystery of the world my friend. Your guaranteed to find the lost plug / socket, but only after you have bought a new ones and opened the packages. Some kind of law of the Universe we have to deal with I believe.....

I hate when stuff like that happens, drives me crazy. Sometimes I get LUCKY taking my magnetic extension wand and probing around, it just might grab it.

Yeah, I tried crawling around under there some. Didn't put as much effort into as I probably could have, or would have it wasn't 15-20 degrees outside. Went out today and changed the coil packs out, and #2 plug/wire. Then the #4 wire pulled outta the boot and the boot doesn't want to come off. Had to quit for the day at that point to get dinner going and sit down for playoffs. Hoping maybe after work tomorrow to get some done.

You should take off all of the brackets and heat shielding you don't need like I did. I can replace the rear plugs without even tipping the engine.
