I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS and I was changing the heater valve and it broke off into the engine block. Can I leave the broken pieces in there and go ahead and replace the valve or do I have to disassemble the motor and remove the broken pieces?

 

I'm not aware of a heater valve on the engine.... Do you mean the plastic elbows??
