Default Half way there!

Alright guys im in the process of pulling my old 3.4 and putting in a L67 with the H.D. tranny,im half way there,i have everything disconnected from the engine and tranny except the motor mounts and transmission mount

The good news is I get to borrow my friends hoist for free to pull it.The bad news is I have no idea what the hell im doing when it comes time to hook up the new one,or where to get a good set up for cheap without going to the junk yard.

ive never done anything like this before, the most ive ever done to a vehicle was change the spark plugs so I can say this has been one hell of an experience,I want to thank everyone who has answered my questions and give me the info and advice I need

Keep up the good work!!! I have never done any of that on a newer car with all the fancy stuff and FWD.
Wish I could offer some assistance but I have yet to have to work on anything major on the 02. And I KNOW I would be lost but would start reading and watching videos and asking questions so I could do the work myself.

Not all RWD cars are easy to work on. Some cars tuck the back of the engine under the firewall (newer F-bodys, C5s, etc), others are super cramped to work on (300ZX TTs, etc).

my first truck I bought myself was an 86' chevy c10 swb, bought it for$1500 barely running (carb problems) I got the carb cleaned out,gas tank cleaned and put the widest tires I could find all the way around it,it had a bored out 355 with a mild cam, edlebrock carb and intake and a th350 3speed auto tranny,i loved that truck with a passion, and it was so easy to work on,just sold it a few months back because I blew the transmission out,but I had a paper signed by two witnesses and notarized that if he ever sells it its got to come back to me hahaha
