Gernal mod plan does not help me. can you?
Well, Money is not really an issue for me I mean i don't want to go over board but I can afford the things my mechanical work is good my brother even owns his own shop so he can help me if i cant do it. and i want atleast 600-1000whp
Keep in mind, if you have a NA 3800, you've got a 160 whp car. You're talking about making the engine more than 6 times more powerful than stock. That number alone should tell you that you're starting in the wrong place. None of the engine components were designed for that level of power, and we're not even getting into transmissions. How do you plan on putting that power to the ground?
As far as I know no one has ever even done 1000 whp on a 3800.
I know I come into a lot of these threads and sound like I'm bashing montes by saying to sell it and get something different. That really isn't my intent- but there are some goals that just don't make any sense- either due to reliability or cost concerns, and 1000 whp happens to be one of those goals.
I'm interested now. Basic engine mods being cam, upper/lower intake, throttle body, CAI, Exhaust. Heads???
400 as in a stock l67 with a block off plate and e85. That's if you know what you're doing tuning.
Basic Engine mods being a good tune, an HV3 intake, Rockers, a front Powerlog, and maybe a larger HVTB (think stage 2)
also keep in mind ZZP's big turbo build was mostly a tube car. with twin turbos IIRC and is no where near a daily driver.
Might I/We ask why or where you get the idea you want 600/1000 hp?
if you really want closer to 1000hp i would say you need to work backwards... figure out what trans will handle the power, then suspension and body, then engine that fits and makes the power.

man good luck hitting that goal, i was in your exact shoes when i started looking into modding my car and i wanted 600whp. right now i am at 384whp but i am on a baby turbo, i estimate with a bigger turbo i will make between 500-550whp with a meth kit on pump fuel but mind you NO transmission is guaranteed to hold this kind of power do to the 1"gm chain and torsen differential being dis continued. the most a build trans is good for with the parts available now is around 400whp. also mind you i am running the cartuning turbo kit and a complete built engine (bored, ported heads, cam, rockers, ewp, fuel upgrades, l26 plenum, emissions crap gone, etc) with a fully built trans (hardened parts, valve body upgrades, shift kit, high stall, etc) i have probably around $10,000 in performance upgrades if not more and im only making 384whp. now with another $4,000 in turbo part upgrades ill finally be making big power...
but is 500-550whp worth $14,000 in performance upgrades?
if i were to build another car with this kind of goal it would never be on a 3800 platform and i absolutely love these engines but there not ment to make this kind of power.

I really think you should try e85 and tune it for it^^^ I bet you could break the 400whp mark. I've seen it do some awesome stuff around here, let my friend go up another 4-6 lbs of boost on his 3800 GP over pump gas.
thats y i never switched to it, i originally had intentions to until i found out no one had it close. so next best thing is pump gas/meth injection i guess....
