Fuel line replacement?

Fuel line replacement?
I need to replace the fuel line that goes from the engine to the fuel filter. Anyone have any tips suggestions? Looks pretty straight forward but only question is how to disconnect it on the engine side. It looks like just a rubber tube slips over the metal line but not sure?
EDIT---Looks like the line is one piece that goes right up to the fuel rail with a quick connect. Does that sound correct?

Do they makes replacement L67 fuel line connectors? Basically the L36 connectors are a 90 degree elbow and will leak. I need to cut or do something with the nylon line that goes to the fuel rails. Someone said there is a kit but has anyone used it?

The l36 lines fit perfect on the rails. You just need to put the tiny little clear plastic spacers in that clip them on, off of your l36 rails, or find some from an l67. No cutting required.

I am just going to go to Advanced auto parts and buy the straight ones. I have heard a few horror stories about people having the L36 ones leak.
How is your car? Is it up and running? I just have to throw the Gen V on tomorrow and hook up the wiring and I will be done tomorrow hopefully.
