Ok, im posting the mods I get one by one on this site.

First is a K&N air filter. I have heard it lets crap get in the engine. Any truth to it?

I also need a link to where I can get one that fits my engine.

I have a 2006 with a 3900 engine.

The K&N's are not liked on the Jeep off road forum, but there is much more dirt and airborne debris in that enviornment. I have not had any issues with the panel filters on my street vehicles.

 

unless you do a lot of offroading... in which case you need a set of tires and a lift kit

nah, we had one on our Suburban from 197,000 miels on out until now, which we're trying to sell it, at 256,800... still runs descent.
