I have noticed while driving with the ac on, the engine sounds like its stuck in whateva gear and wont jump to the next, plus it sometimes the "security light" comes on while driving wit the ac on as well. Now I tried to see if the light would come (while the ac was on) on today but it didnt. It does sound weird doesnt it...lol I mean, I am getting good good good cold air from the inside but when its on, i am kinda scared to go faster knowing that sound is there... Has anyone went through this prob? Does anyone know it sounds that way.? Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated....

 

clutch on your ac motor? or maybe low on pag oil? either could make squeel and possibly cause more drag on your serpentine belt

 

if thats the prob, how do i check to see if it is? anything about the ac is new too me....lol

 

i know you really have no way of checking pag oil unless you take everything off and drain it and compare to specifications. pain in the rear. as for checking clutch.... not really sure off the top of my head, i remember covering it but its not stuck in my head. i havent done it enough yet

not necessarily, those are just a couple things i could think of off the top of my head.
