The other day, I was listening for any negative sounds from the engine while sitting idle. So, I incedently pushed the gas peddle hard and the engine started jumping (like it was trying to jump out the car...lol). So I tested it again to at 3k rpms (I think), it jumped again while idle. Even when I start it up, the engine jumps a lil. Why is that? It seems like that I might need new motor mounts...

 

you know your not suppose to rev your engine while at idle? i believe i know what your talking about, its normal.

Yea, I think it does need motor mounts. I know when I needed a jump one day, my neighbor noticed the way my engine jumped when I tried to start it and was shocked. So, of course, even though my engine doesnt knock, that sure brought my attention too it...
