Engine Knock and Transmission Wont Shift
I finally got my car up and running after the Dizzy problem and now I got more problems. When I accelerate, I hit about 30 MPH and the car will not shift into the next gear. When I floor it, I hear a slight knocking from what I believe is the bottom of the engine. Might be a bent rod or something, but I am more worried about the tranny because I dont know how to fix those yet. Also, my kickdown cable has not been connected just yet. it wont work with my bracket.
This smells like a SBC/TH350 combo to me.
I'm no expert on old school stuff like that, but weren't those older automatic transmissions heavily vacuum dependent (thinking: vacuum modulator, etc)? If so, are all of your vacuum lines properly connected/not leaking?

Fixed. 03SS/00GSE/93LX, I renounce god and will now pray to you :P Vacuum line was not even there. Got it to work after connecting the vacuum line.
