dont go with any thing electrical that has to do with forced induction it is asking for some thing not to work and on top of that all it is is a hair drier motor just amped up a little. if you want a good reliable mods for your 3.8 ss zz performance has alot of parts for the 3.8 monte carlo's

you know i would like to see some sort of test result on these electric chargers, the only thing ive seen is on youtube where it crushes a can by sucking on it, it looks like it really has some power.

There is no test result necessary really- find out the CFM rating for the electric fan, and then you can calculate the CFM requirement of the engine at WOT at redline (where it is using the most air). If the CFM requirement of the engine is higher than the CFM rating of the fan, it will be an obvious restriction. The other thing you have to keep in mind too is that these fans can never produce any sizeable amount of boost (anyone ever seen anyone hook a boost gauge to the engine using one of these?) I would imagine at anything more than 1-2 psi, the CFM rating is going to really tank because these fans were made to circulate air, not to be a compressor- like a real turbo or supercharger, that takes a good deal of energy to do- and isn't something you're going to get through a little 10 amp fused wire.

I prefer to hook my intake to an air compressor.
