Question Electric Super Charger?

So I accidentilly came across this... what do you guys think of it, it's not really in my mind to buying, because I don't think I could trust it.
Apparently +80 HP probably just to the crank though

Electric Supercharger

you must never have the supercharger on continuously for more than a few minutes or it will cause heat up and damage. This would void the warranty. It is designed to be on for short bursts. It would not take a vehicle more than 30 seconds to reach over 100 MPH, during this period the supercharger would be working when your vehicle is floored only. Your vehicle does not need more air flow to drive around town normally.
How does the supercharger turn on?
Included is a small micro switch - the micro switch can be mounted under your pedal or next to your throttle body. The switch must only turned on when your floor the vehicle. If your vehicle has drive-by-wire, then the only option is mounting the switch on or near your gas pedal, this is not an option.

the 3.8 pulls more air at just over idle than that thing can push wide open... the 5.3 would suck that garbage into next week, -80 hp is more likely than +80 don't ever buy an e-turbo or tornado or any of that garbage

It's put quite simply, a load of crap. Someone had a neat idea that they thought they'd sucker a few people into for money. It'd create more problems and not get you anywhere.

If something like that worked, smaller engines with those built in would be used by EVERY AUTOMAKER EVER.

You know... kind of like how turbos are replacing displacement.

The Nissan GT-R is a prime example xD. Gotta love the sound of that TwinTurbo 3.8 V6!

Do research on them, they've been brought up a lot.

The answer is no, there's no way that thing can spin fast enough to do anything but hurt you in the end.

car craft or hot rod did a whole right up on leaf blowers. it was kind of crazy. they did gain 14hp i think, but it took quite a few gas powered ones. take that 179 bucks and buy yourself an ls1 intake. youll be much happier.
