dyno tune
I have a 2004 Mc SS supercharged with the usual bolt on's except for 1.9 mod rockers my question is this i recently had the car dyno tuned the motor runs great my problem is i have to get the car smog checked and no mater how many miles i put on it 3 monitors won't go to ready status Catalyst,Evap.&Heated 02 i had this problem before the tune that's why i had it done i thought that would take care of the problem but apparently not don't know if this just coincadence but my air fuel ratio meter also stopped working Last fall i had the car at the track and a friend oluged in his laptop to see what the settings were pryer to that i was getting a p0170 lean check light but it was ok by the time he did this he said he turned out the light i didn't think anything about it till this spring & this monitor problem started now i wonder if that's the reason for it anybody got any ideas is there a way to tweek the computer to get the ready status i need?

P0170 - Your fuel trim is not set properly and you're leaning out on bank 1. I would have it retuned asap before you turn your engine into a grenade.
As far as the codes for evap, cat and o2 you have 2 choices - you can diagnose the individual systems and fix what is causing the codes - or - you can have them deleted from the pcm when you have it retuned. Having them deleted is something you will need to request because most dyno shops will only focus on the tune and not the resulting codes the tune may trigger.

Thanks for the info the car is not lighting up any codes the problem is the monitors for catlyst evap and heated 02 every time i check it with my scanner it tells me their not ready i've put at least 150-200 miles and they still won't set i would like to take it back to the tuner but i've called 3 times and they won't get back to me it seems their customer service sucks

My misunderstanding...I popped in and out on a break and didn't catch the monitor part. To get them all in the ready state you need to do what they call a 'drive cycle'. See if this helps:
General Motors Driving Cycle
I'd still get that thing back to the tuner as soon as you can so they can determine what conditions the engine is leaning out under and adjust the fuel tables accordingly.

Thanks for reply are the monitors reset by miles driven or hours of operation i've heard it both ways The motor runs fine the lean bank code was from last year i was experimenting with mixing E85 & premium gas stupid i know but it seemed like a good idea at the time i now have water/meth injection

Click on the 'General Motors Driving Cycle' link in my previous post and follow the instructions. You may have to run the car through the drive cycle a couple of times but it should set all monitors to the ready state.
