Thank you both!

Zippy theres a guy that used to be on here that had a tripple alt setup. But he posted mock up pics and some boxy hood scoops to cover the 3rd alt that stuck through the hood. Then he dissappeared.. never heard what happened to his build after that, Kinda disappointing

Well guess your the man then, since the tripler guy bailed out on us. Wish we lived closer to each other, I hate my audio systems performance. Been to 2 different shops and it's just not what I want it to be. Seems like the vocals are not loud and clear, kind of a muffled sound. My in door tweeters were blown, replaced them and it is not really much better. Seems like they can't dial in the system.

Whata sic system you must have thats is requiring your sue of 2 alternators. You intend on entering in any some upcoming competition? Take care Bud, nice set up.

So I'm looking to follow in your footsteps and add a second alt.
I see that you have to move the coil pack to put the alt where you did.
Do you have any more details on getting the whole job done including mods like that?
By chance did you make a template diagram?
Thanks in advance

@FaceKicker - The OP has a 3400 engine, he never had to move the coils, they are in the factory spot for the 3400. The 3800 is the drivetrain with the coils on the side.

Makes sense, I can see using longer plug wires and moving them wont be a problem for me anyway. I didn't realize its was a 3400 but it looks like the same gameplan will still work. Glad you pointed that out though, I knew something was up but I was focused on the bracket not the engine (duh).

remove a/c, put 2nd alt in its place with a zzp alt relocation bracket.

would be a lot easier, but no a/c.

got it all lined up..

mock up for bracket.. This second alt is a actual monte carlo alt.. I could flip flop the two alts if i ever felt the need too..

Attachment 30408

all working and painted.. With additional custom lazer engraved fuse block

Attachment 30409
