I have a 06 monte carlo ss.........if you don't accelerate slowly it wants to cut out, does anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem?

 

Do you have any engine codes? I'd start your troubleshooting around your throttle body and the associated sensors. Out of curiosity, is it anytime you slam open the throttle? So, if you're cruising on the interstate going 70 and you floor it, does it do the same thing as when you do it from idle or a stop?

 

Do you by chance happen to know what sensors are located around the throttle body?

 

Define the area around the TB, because doesn't the LS4 just have the throttle position sensor attached to the TB?
