Default Coolant leak

new to the forum just bought a 04 SS non SC about 1 1/2 months ago started smelling like the car was running hot but never overheated the yesterday it overheated found the coolant was very low so i refilled it then i noticed it was getting wet on the passenger side of the motor now its low and running hot in a drive around the block so i ran it till it was hot and noticed it was spraying out under the tensioner around a black elbow tube anyone have a clue if its a water pump, or gasket or what any info would help

its probably the coolant elbow leaking, they are just crappy plastic with a rubber o ring around both ends. you can get them for a few bucks at your local autoparts store, they are usually in the "help'' section that would be a great time to change your lower intake gaskets as well as they are problematic with the 3800 engines.
