Has anyone ever used one? Looks very sturdy and reliable...

Are you having issues with other brands?

Other than for issues from modifications (blower belt slip, misaligned pullies, etc). Ive not ever had an issue with whatever basic belt they've got in stock at the parts store.

Exactly the issues you mentioned, but I had my pulley replaced.

Thats definitely the better route to go. Always better to find and correct the real problem with modern belt issues as the belts themselves should last a very long time.
